Home » Training   Product ID: 3GCCW Concealed Carry Class   Because Training Makes THE Difference   The goal of this course is to give the students the ability to name, explain, and demonstrate the rules for safe handling of a handgun and proper storage practices for handguns and ammunition; the ability to demonstrate and explain how to handle ammunition in a safe manner; the ability to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to shoot a handgun in a safe manner; how to safely shoot a pistol from multiple positions; and to meet the criteria set forth by the State of Ohio to apply for an Ohio License to Carry a Concealed Handgun.   This course meets or exceeds the requirements for applying for an Ohio License to Carry a Concealed Handgun.     COURSE OUTLINE   Pistol knowledge and safe gun handling Ammunition knowledge and the fundamentals of pistol shooting Safe storage of firearms and ammunition Safely shooting a handgun Scoring targets, and selecting and maintaining your pistol Continued opportunities for skill development Summary of the Ohio Attorney General "Ohio's Concealed Carry Laws and License Application Pamphlet". Selection of concealed carry equipment, and proper maintenance.       Student Required Materials NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM   A valid picture I.D. Hearing protection Eye protection Proper attire. We will be shooting on a private outdoor range. We will train rain or shine. A safe pistol (either a single action revolver, a double action revolver or a semi-automatic pistol). If you do not have a pistol, DO NOT buy one for this class. Weekend classes start at 8am and ends at 8pm - 12 Hours (State-mandated). Each participant should expect to spend 10 hours in training and at least 2 hours on the range.     Location: Classes held locally at our store front in Tipp City, OH and at a private outdoor range.   3G Tactical 135 E.
